Pool Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day (Weather Permitting)
Sunbathe, play in the sand, and swim in the beautiful Severn River. Check out a Paddle Boat, Kayak, or Stand Up Paddleboard and explore the river, enjoy saltwater fishing or crabbing right off of our pier, or take your own boat out into the Severn River, Mobjack Bay, and Chesapeake Bay from our boat launch. $5 charged per boat per hour. Paddle boats hold 4 people, stand up paddle boards are designed for single riders and kayaks can accommodate up to 2 passengers depending on what boat is available.
There’s plenty of summertime fun for the whole family in our Water Zone! Take a dip in the pool, or slip and slide down our two 70’ water slides. Our littlest campers will love cooling off in our splash park and wading pool. The pool hours are Sunday-Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. & Thursday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
We love our pets so much at Camp Cardinal that we made a park just for our furry friends. The Bark Park is a large fenced-in area with an agility course where you can let your dog run off of the leash with your supervision.
Everyone will love exploring our playground, featuring swings, jungle gym, climbing web, sand volleyball, horseshoe pits, and sand box.
We are located on the beautiful Severn River, a tributary to the Mobjack and Chesapeake Bay, home to sea bass, spade fish, striped bass, groupers and more. Enjoy salt-water fishing from our licensed pier, or check out our guide to crabbing.
Come and experience the ultimate fun at our game room on the campground! Whether you’re looking for some indoor excitement during a rainy day or just want to relax and play some games with friends, our game room has got you covered.
The Recreation Center is the hub of our recreation program. Daily and nightly themed events make up a stacked schedule of good, clean, camping fun including bingo, dance parties, crafts, and movie nights. A refuge on rainy days, it’s the central spot of the Camp Cardinal and where all the action happens.
We are happy to offer Boat and/or RV storage to our customers. We are pleased to be offering the option of being able to move your trailer to and from your storage lot when you stay with us. Unfortunately, this option is not available for motorhomes.
